Talk it in — every list in CarryOn can now be dictated, and you choose who hears your voice
- Financial Picture: a new “Describe your finances” box at the top of the page. Tap the mic (or type) and walk through your bills, what you owe, your accounts and what you own — CarryOn sorts it into bills, debts, accounts and property, you review every line (“here’s what I heard”), then add it. Every tile stays editable
- Every “describe it” box now updates what you already have, too. Say “the mortgage is due on the first”, “Bill’s new number is…”, “Sarah moved to Richmond” or “make Emma’s wedding message a video” and CarryOn finds that entry, shows an Update tag with the changed fields highlighted in amber, and saves only those changes when you approve. Milestone Messages: your recordings and current notes are never touched — anything new you say is shown as an addition you can edit, keep or drop. The microphone now sits in its own row at the lower right of every “describe it” box (and the QuickStart story box), and the example text wraps across the full width, so nothing is ever hidden behind it — on desktop and on the phone.
- Beneficiaries, Friends & Family Notification and the Digital Access Vault each gained the same “describe it” box: name the people (or the accounts) in one breath, review what CarryOn heard, add them. Passwords are never spoken to the AI — you type them into a locked field that goes straight into your encrypted vault
- Immediate Action Checklist: talk through the first calls, filings and hand-offs; each one becomes a checklist item with a priority and a timeframe for you to review
- Contingency Protocols: describe where you live, who is in the house, the disaster that worries you, where you would go, the go-bag and your out-of-area check-in contact — CarryOn fills in the plan wizard and the meeting-point / check-in / go-bag panels, then you generate the plan as before
- Milestone Messages: say who each message is for, when it should arrive and what you want them to know — CarryOn sets each one up with your notes written in, ready for you to record the video or voice
- QuickStart now offers a third door for new members: “Yes — let me just tell you.” Tell your family story once, in plain words, and CarryOn pre-fills the QuickStart screens; nothing is kept until you have looked each screen over and tapped Next
- You now choose how CarryOn listens, once, for every mic in the app: CarryOn Private Dictation (recommended — your voice goes only to CarryOn and is transcribed on our zero-data-retention AI account; audio is discarded immediately) or your device’s own dictation (Apple / Google, live as you speak). Change it any time under Settings → Dictation
- The Entities & Structures builder, Milestone Message dictation and the Estate Guardian mic all honour that one choice
- Security page: a new “Dictation & AI Builders” entry spells out exactly what is sent where, and that nothing is saved until you approve it
- Talk-it-in builders are a plan feature: your plan decides whether the “describe it” boxes and the QuickStart “let me just tell you” door appear. Adding things by hand always works on every plan
